Dogs are also very good with kids. Whilst there are some breeds who may bite once in a while, for the very most part they are very gentle and will happily play with children in a safe way. As they play they will develop a close bond, making them a loyal and loving companion and guardian.

One final point is that they are pretty cheap to run in the main. The cost of purchasing them will be the main cost and this may be relatively high depending on whether you go for a more expensive pedigree breed. However, aside from this, you can keep costs quite low depending on what sorts of food you buy.

You may choose to spend some extra money on them however to treat them for being such a fantastic pet. For some getting some dog apparel or clothes is one way to treat them or get a cushion for the dogs bed. Remember however that some will bite or chase other animals and try to hurt them so look to get a dog muzzle, which is essentially a full face helmet that prevents them from being able to fully open their mouths and bite.

If your pet bird starts making sounds that it has never made, or if it is reacting differently than it normally does, it could be a sign that it is getting sick.

Another thing that you should be able to begin recognizing is the movements of your bird. You should be able to see where it likes to perch, and what kind of movements it likes to do during the day and night.

If you have been paying attention to your bird and know what it's habits are you'll know to pay attention to it when these behaviors change like for example it hanging out on the floor of it's cage rather than on its favorite perch. Also, if it is moving much more than usual, and trying to fly out of the cage, it also might be sick, and there should be something done about it. Talk to your vet immediately.
